Who Are We?

Our Story

The drunken brainchild of two university friends, Strongest Potion Productions began as many great schemes have, on the walk home from Hull's infamous Spider's Nightclub, fuelled by passion, ambition, and a fair amount of alcohol. We have since blossomed into an emerging pocket rocket production company focussed on bringing passion projects to life and making entertainment that people can enjoy, free of the restrictions of conventional theatre.

We take making unserious entertainment very seriously...

Harvey Medlicott-Revell - Company & Creative Director

Hello there! I'm Harvey, I've been a performer and creative for many years and this company is the culmination of all of my crazy ideas and aspirations. I adore weird and wonderful art and being able to produce more of that wonderfully weird art for others like me is what this company is all about.

Harvey Medlicott-Revell - Company & Creative Director

I made my start within the industry as a musical theatre performer but decided I would rather tell people what to sing instead of just singing myself! I adore everything about music, and I love teaching, performing and creating music. I am a trained pianist and Musical Director and have continuously worked within the industry for several years.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_FQU4KzN7A < We think this is utterly brilliant.

Currently, we are operating in the UK, and we have no immediate plans to tour outside of the UK at present, however, we plan to one day tackle the world. (Not in an evil empire kinda way...Although that does sound cool, and we've added it to the 'Long Term' section of the company itinerary.)

Yes! We have accounts on Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, TikTok, and LinkedIn! We are most active on our Instagram though. Feel free to tag us if you photograph or film something we've made, or just if you really want us to see it.

Tickets will likely be available online, linked alongside the production details on our 'What's On?' section of the website. Tickets may also be available through our venues and can be purchased on the door, provided the show hasn't sold out.

Usually, no unfortunately, we're an adult-oriented company and our shows tend to be irreverent and adult in nature, we also present much of our work in bars and clubs as well as theatres and children/pets may not be allowed regardless of us. Any child/pet-friendly content we produce will be labelled as such, and presented in an appropriate setting. Similarly, we discourage pets at our performances as we are quite a rowdy and bright bunch which could upset your pets and our venue hosts. That being said we love animals so we're more than happy to meet and see pictures of your pets in appropriate settings.

We aim to make our performances as accessible as possible and would ask if you or someone you know is attending a performance and requires any particular affordances to feel comfortable/safe, we will endeavour to do everything we can to make it happen. This being said, sometimes certain situations regarding seating, the way work is presented or the language used is out of our control and as a small company we can only do so much and for this, we can only apologise and inform you of limitations/content before a performance.

As a company, we support and champion the LGBTQIA+ Community, and everyone is welcome at our shows, we only ask that the atmosphere remains friendly, inclusive and A-political.

Firstly, thank you for asking. Of course we do! It's Baryonyx.
